Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

This policy explains how ADB Logic ("ADB Logic", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, both on this website (www.adblogic.com) and when we work with clients. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

The short version: we collect only what we need to reply to you and do the work you ask for, we do not sell your information, and we do not run a mailing list.

1. What we collect

When you contact us

If you use the contact form, email us or book a call, we receive what you give us: your name, your email address or phone number, the topics you pick and anything you write in your message.

Bot protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks, usually without you seeing anything, that a person, not an automated bot, is sending the message. To do this, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, browser (user agent) and connection details. These are used only to tell people from bots, not to identify, profile or advertise to you. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

When you browse the site

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this.
  • Hosting and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.

When we work together

During a project we may see information held in your business systems, including personal information about your staff, customers or suppliers. We access only what the work needs, use it only for that work, and handle it as described in section 5.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange any meeting you ask for.
  • To prepare proposals, deliver the services you agree to, and invoice for them.
  • To keep business, tax and accounting records the law requires.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To keep the site and our systems secure.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing email. We only use your details for another purpose if you agree to it first, or if the law requires or allows it.

3. Consent

By sending us a message or booking a call, you consent to us using your details to reply and follow up on that request. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to legal or contractual limits (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only get what they need to provide their service:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website, delivers contact form messages by email and runs the Turnstile bot check on the form. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Google provides analytics, fonts and email services.
  • Calendly handles meeting bookings. When you book a call, Calendly's own privacy policy applies to the details you enter there.
  • Accounting, banking and professional advisers, where needed to run the business.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under its laws.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Client information in our work

When we work in your systems or with your data, we treat it as confidential. We will:

  • access only what the agreed work needs, using the access you grant;
  • not use your data for any other purpose or share it with anyone else without your permission;
  • return or delete copies we hold when the work ends, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires us to keep them.

You remain responsible for your business's own privacy obligations, including having the right to share any personal information with us and telling your own customers and staff how their information is used. Specific terms for a project are set out in the written proposal or agreement for that project.

6. Cookies and your choices

The site itself does not need cookies to work. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site will still work normally.

Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar storage that are strictly necessary to tell people from bots. If you block them, or block JavaScript, the contact form may not be able to send; you can always email us at hello@adblogic.com instead.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years, then deleted.
  • Client and billing records: as long as the law requires (generally 6 years for tax records in Canada).
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics keeps event data for the retention period set in our account (no more than 14 months).

8. How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections, access controls, multi-factor authentication on our accounts and limiting who can see client data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@adblogic.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Children

This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it took effect at the top.

12. Contact

Questions about privacy go to the person responsible for privacy at ADB Logic: hello@adblogic.com, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
